My parents began this business in 1972 by setting up art shows in the clubhouses of apartment complexes. They passed out flyers to the tenants, attracting an impressive number of art buyers. Soon after, they began art shows in various malls. They eventually decided to build their own gallery in several malls as well as a frame shop and original art gallery.

I began working at the gallery during the summer before my senior year of college. After graduation, I returned home to attend graduate school and manage the family business full-time. During grad school, I was inspired to investigate business possibilities outside of our bricks-and-mortar gallery. I soon realized that the Internet was the most viable and necessary option in order to grow the company.

SportsStadiums.com opened for business in August of 1999. The online demand for sports photos was so impressive that I created another website to sell an even wider variety of merchandise. ArtShowGallery.com opened in September of 2000 and the two sites merged soon after. The site currently features over 1000 prints with more added regularly.
